Temma Donahue has been a practicing trial attorney for over 7 years and is experienced with a variety of legal matters with a special focus on criminal defense and family law. Temma handles divorce, parental rights and responsibilities, criminal defense, juvenile criminal defense, protection from abuse, protection from harassment and probate guardianship cases. She is also a rostered Guardian ad Litem.
In 2007, Temma received her Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law. During law school, Temma worked with a criminal defense attorney, and also had a yearlong internship at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office where she maintained and tried cases.
Temma graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maine School of Law and received the Health Law Award.
Prior to becoming a partner at Rioux, Donahue, Chmelecki & Peltier, Temma worked for 7 years at Fairfield and Associates P.A.
At Fairfield and Associates, Temma handled a large volume of cases and had the opportunity to participate in a number of high profile cases. Temma has represented hundreds of Maine citizens in Courts across southern Maine. Whatever the type of case, Temma provides compassionate and highly skilled representation.
Temma is a 2002 graduate of Guilford College, in Greensboro, North Carolina, where she double majored in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Throughout high school, college and law school, Temma worked part time at Casco Bay Lines in Portland. While loving her law practice and current career; on beautiful summer days in Maine, she misses working outside on the waterfront. Temma lives in Portland with her husband and toddler, and in what spare time she has, enjoys gardening, renovating her civil war era home and enjoying all of the outdoor activities Maine has to offer.
