Mark Peltier is a founding member of Rioux, Donahue, Chmelecki & Peltier. His practice focuses on the areas of Criminal Defense, Juvenile Defense, Protection from Abuse and Harassment, Wills and Estates, and Child Protective Law.

Mark has practiced in these areas in the State of Maine since 2010 and has also served as a volunteer attorney for the Innocence Project. Prior to entering the field of law, Mark worked as a Drug Court Case Manager for Maine Pre-Trial Services, and also served in the U.S. Air Force.

Mark earned his JD from the University of Maine School of Law in May of 2010. While in law school, he was a research editor on the Maine Law Review. In addition, Mark worked as a student attorney in the criminal division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Portland, Maine. Prior to attending law school, Mark earned his BA from the University of Southern Maine with a degree in Criminology. Mark enjoys spending time playing baseball, climbing and biking. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Maine and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
