Attorney Luke Rioux is a founding member of the firm. His practice focuses exclusively on criminal defense in state and federal courts. He has won not guilty verdicts at trial on charges including murder, manslaughter, federal drug trafficking, federal aggravated identity theft, robbery, aggravated assault, terrorizing, domestic violence assault, operating under the influence, operating after suspension, and many others.

He has had convictions overturned on post conviction review petition and by appeal to the Maine Supreme Court. Attorney Rioux writes extensively about Maine State and Federal Criminal defense here. He has also been a contributing blogger on criminal law for the Portland Press Herald. He also serves on the Maine Legislature’s Criminal Law Advisory Committee, on the board of directors of the Maine Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and on the board of the Cleaves Law Library.
